Busy Busy Week!!

On Wednesday May 16th the band will be playing at Diamond T Arena in Denton performing for Chrissy’s Cause benefit. This is to help raise funds for a lady who has been diagnosed with cancer. Contact Diamond T for more information on how you can help!

Thursday the band will be performing for the Starlight Children’s Foundation benefit at Choctaw Casino and Resort in Durant, OK. Starlight helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities. Any individuals or companies that would like to purchase tickets to sponsor Starlight children to attend, please contact Gina Spurgeon at gina.spurgeon@gmail.com Starlight brings together experts from pediatric healthcare, technology and entertainment to create programs that help brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families. Friday the band travels to Abilene to perform at Southern Nights Dancehall! Always a great time at Southern Nights and we’re really looking forward to being back there.

Saturday night the band will be helping to honor our men and women in uniform. Join them at the Nocona VFW for the Armed Forces Day dance! This will be an awesome night.

On Sunday Scotty will be performing at the North Texas Songwriters Festival. Tons of great artists are going to be there so make sure and don’t miss it!

May 9th-13th

On Wednesday May 9th Scotty will be playing acoustic at Mudflaps in Whitesboro with his guests Robby White and Jeff Hopson. Should be a great time!

Friday night May 11th the band will be heading to Malone to play at Pooh’s Pair-A-Dice. First time in the area so make sure and come on out.

Saturday night May 12th the band will be back on home turf playing at Tony’s Tavern in Muenster. Always a good time!!

On Sunday we are really excited about the airing of our video “Cowboys Ain’t Supposed To Cry” on Young Country TV. You can see the show on Dish Network Channel 232…it will start at 2:30 p.m. CST. They will air the video and also a short interview that was done with the band at this years Texas Regional Radio Music Awards. Make sure and tune in!

May 3rd-6th

Thursday night Scotty will be performing acoustically at Serna’s Mexican Cuisine in Gainesville, TX. Great food, cold drinks and a very friendly atmosphere. He will also be there Friday night performing with Andy Serna and Vince Pawless. Make sure and catch one or both of these shows.

Since Scotty has the acoustic show Friday night the boys in The Perfect Trouble Band are gonna take it to the road PTB style…they will be performing at The Water Hole in Terral, OK. If you haven’t seen a PTB show you need to!

On Saturday 5/5 the whole band will be at Leonard Park in Gainesville to help the City Parks and Rec Department kick off Spring Fling! Lots of fun stuff all day long! The band plays from 2:30-4:30..make sure and go out and support the whole event!

Saturday night and Sunday the band is playing at private parties…the fun never ends!

Time For Germanfest and All Other Kinds Of Fun!!

Saturday night is gonna be one helluva party!! Germanfest in Muenster, Texas is always always a great event and this year proves to be no different. Update On Benefit

Due to the threat of severe weather in the Whitesboro/Cooke County/North Texas area on Sunday we have postponed the benefit for Dianna Thurman “In Memory Of Jerry Thurman” until next Sunday May 22nd. We apologize to everyone that may be inconvenienced by this…we just thought it much safer this way. Hope to see you all at Mudflaps on April 22nd. Thank you.

On Friday we will be at the Rockin’ Roundup in the Diamond T Arena in Denton, Texas. This is a fundraiser for North Texas Health Services raising money for underserved Texans. The evening will include a barbecue dinner, a show rodeo, a live band, country and western dancing, a raffle, and more! On Sunday we will be at Mudflaps in Whitesboro, Texas for the “In Memory Of Jerry Thurman” benefit. As you all know Jerry passed away and the expenses have been hard for his wife and family to try and handle. So a slew of great artists are coming to pay and there will be a silent auction, bbq plates and a raffle. So please make plans to come and join us. Everything starts at 1 p.m.

Bringing It Back Home!

This weekend (April 6th and 7th) is gonna be a great weekend. On Friday night we will be at Filthy McNasty’s Saloon in The Stockyards, Ft. Worth and then Saturday we will be at Tony’s Tavern in Muenster. Our buddy Jake Marlin, who is home on leave, will open up for us Saturday with an acoustic set. So come on out and join us as it is gonna be a helluva good time!!

Album Of The Year plus News For This Weekend!

WOW! We won Album Of The Year at the Texas Music Awards!! We are so honored to have this award bestowed upon us by the Academy of Texas Music, Inc. Big thanks to them and all of YOU that made this happen. We have posted a few pictures below (photos courtesy of Melissa Arnold). Make sure you all support the Academy! A big congrats to all the winners and the nominees at both the Texas Music Awards and the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards. As long as we are making music for people to enjoy we are all winners.

Friday night we will be in Abilene at Southern Nights Dancehall opening the show for Bleu Edmondson. We are very excited about this so make sure and come out and join us! We’ll be stopping in to talk with J.B. Cloud of KBCY in Abilene before heading out to Southern Nights so listen in.

On Saturday night we’ll be bringing it back close to home. Join us at Happy’s Sports Bar in Aubrey!! Always a good time with the crew of Happy’s some come on out!

Scotty’s Birthday and Award Weekend!

This Thursday join us at Mudflaps Bar & Grill in Whitesboro for Scotty’s Birthday Bash! Great line up of performers coming out to join him.
